Apparent power-hungry thieves have stolen more than 700 vehicle batteries from a South Texas business.
San Antonio police say the batteries were taken from Exide Technologies.
Investigators said Tuesday that the batteries were stolen Dec. 1 after someone broke into the rear of the company complex located in an isolated business park. The batteries were on 18 pallets.
A reward has been offered by San Antonio Crime Stoppers.
