Four construction workers are hospitalized with serious injuries after a second-floor ceiling fell at a county justice center construction site in downtown San Antonio.
Fire Chief Charles Hood says three workers were buried in debris from the 9:15 a.m. April 9 collapse at the Cadena Reeves Justice Center, where the county is building a 10-story addition.
Fire-rescue crews rescued the buried workers, while a fourth worker was able to walk from the rubble.
Hood says the four were sent to Brooke Army Medical Center, two with life-threatening injuries and two hospitalized in stable condition.
