At least 10 minor earthquakes have shaken central Oklahoma in the past 24 to 36 hours, the most recent occurring early in the morning on Aug. 28, according to the Oklahoma Geological Survey.
This morning’st tremor measured a magnitude of 3.7, the same magnitude as an earthquake that occurred near Jones, Okla., around 9 p.m. on Aug. 27.
A 3.4 magnitude earthquake rattled an area near Ada, Okla., at 3:22 a.m. on Aug. 27 as well, the Associated Press reported.
More earthquakes, ranging from 2.5 to 2.7 on the Richter scale, were felt near Jones yesterday, according toThe Oklahoman.
