Police have arrested a second suspect in a fire that left a Louisiana high school with an estimated $2 million in damage.
A Louisiana State Police spokesman says 30-year-old Steven Warren, of Mount Hermon, was apprehended Nov. 4 during a traffic stop in Washington Parish. Warren was awaiting bond on arson and burglary charges.
Warren and his ex-girlfriend, school counselor Lisa Cryer, are suspects in the fire that destroyed the main classroom and office building at St. Helena Parish Central High School in Greensburg.
Investigators say the fire was set to cover up the theft of more than $9,000 raised from the high school’s homecoming game on Oct. 31.
