IIAT’s InfoCentral Now Free for Limited Time

October 6, 2003

If it’s been awhile since you tried InfoCentral or if you’ve never tried it, you’ll want to take advantage of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas offer to use InfoCentral free for a limited time.

“Beginning Oct. 1 InfoCentral will be free for 60 days to all who want to use it,” announced David VanDelinder, IIAT executive director. “Free access will be easy. From the IIAT Web site (www.iiat.org), simply click on the red disk on the home page and enter the free user ID and password.” The free user ID is “use” and the password is “infocentral.” Current subscribers will be able to log on using their existing ID and password if desired.

“InfoCentral, an online subscription service, is the single best source in Texas for finding thousands of answers to complex policy coverage and claims questions,” said Jim Berger, IIAT president. “InfoCentral presents information in an easy-to-understand format with actual policy language in one column and a clear analysis in the second column—all side-by-side for quick reference,” he added. The service also features more than 125 articles that explain many of the toughest coverage and claims issues.

In addition to a complete analysis of 10 commercial and personal lines policies, InfoCentral includes a comprehensive database of agency management information featuring a clear, practical, hands-on approach to most management challenges. Users will find forms, checklists and a wide range of other useful materials. Furthermore, IIAT’s InfoCentral has been updated with the latest and most detailed E&O loss control information for bringing agencies into compliance with best practices standards from throughout the nation. IIAT remains the largest E&O agency in the nation in the ERC program.

Subscription prices reduced
To enable smaller agencies to take full advantage of the online research library’s capabilities, IIAT announced a substantial reduction in subscription prices. New pricing is based on agency size where agencies with the fewest employees are able to subscribe for as little as $149 a year. Full pricing details and online subscriptions are available on the Web site.

Agencies that subscribe during the free period will receive a 14-month subscription for a 12-month price. Agencies with current InfoCentral subscriptions, will have their subscriptions extended for 60 days at no charge. No one will miss out on the special free offer. (Current subscribers can also renew at the special lower rates beginning during the free period for even more savings.)

Finding solutions to tough claims questions or thorny management issues is a snap with InfoCentral’s powerful search engine. Simply enter two or three words to search and InfoCentral will present you with the documents you need. (It’s quick and easy to copy and paste the information you find into an e-mail or a fax.)

Increasingly, top agents are finding InfoCentral an important ally in winning customers through providing current and accurate information when immediate, world-class service is the difference between sale and no sale. Again and again, agents and customer service professionals who subscribe report they use this online reference library to answer tough questions from customers when customers need answers.
