Stellantis will recall 178,246 mini vans in the U.S. over improperly sealed side curtain airbags, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Tuesday.
Here are some details:
- The recall includes certain Pacifica and Voyager mini vans, according to the NHTSA.
- The right and left side-curtain airbags may deflate too quickly during a crash, increasing the risk of passenger ejection and injury, NHTSA said.
- NHTSA said the vehicles’ dealers will replace the side-curtain airbags.
