J.S. Held announced that founder and long-time CEO Jonathon Held will step down as CEO.
The move makes way for Lee Spirer, current president and chief operataing officer, to assume the role of president and CEO at the start of the second quarter.
Held will transition to executive chairman of the board.
Held will continue to provide guidance, and he will increase his client-facing role, providing strategic advisory and dispute resolution consulting, largely focused within the insurance industry.
Spirer more than 30 years of experience. He has operated in public and private companies, acquired and sold businesses and guided a company through an IPO.
