High Net Worth Insurer Expands Management Team

The PURE Group of Insurance Companies, inclusive of Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange (PURE), the policyholder-owned property/casualty insurer designed for high net worth individuals and families, announced the appointment of multiple highly experienced high net worth insurance industry veterans to its senior management team.

Natali Mohanty has been appointed senior vice president of Data & Analytics. Mohanty has more than a decade of experience in data and analytics and most recently served as Chubb’s vice president of Enterprise Analytics.

Scott Spencer has been appointed senior vice president of Risk Management. Having most recently served as global head of Risk Management for Chubb Personal Insurance, Spencer’s extensive experience in loss prevention, combined with his passion and energy will aid the insurer in developing innovative new ways to make membership smarter, safer and more resilient.

Jennifer Spindler has been appointed senior vice president of Underwriting Operations. With more than 15 years of experience in underwriting for the high net worth niche, Spindler will serve a critical role in enhancing PURE’s underwriting strategy as the insurer continues to experience significant growth. She previously acted as vice president of Strategic Underwriting with ACE Private Risk Services.

Michael Taylor has been appointed senior vice president and deputy chief claims officer. With over 30 years of claims experience, Taylor will be instrumental in helping PURE deliver on its commitment to provide the best claims service possible. His previous experience includes several executive-level positions at AIG, including chief claims officer for Private Client Group and global claims officer for Accident & Health.

Kay Promoted to Divisional Senior Vice President of Great American Insurance Group

Ohio-based Great American Insurance Group announced the promotion of Andrew A. Kay to divisional senior vice president of its Public Sector Division. Kay will continue to lead the Division’s production and operational efforts as well as product development. He joined Great American as divisional vice president in 2012 and has over 12 years of public entity experience in the areas of pricing, underwriting and operations.
