Zayicek Appointed Head of ING Insurance North America

ING announced the hire of Ernie Zayicek as a director, leading the coverage of North American insurance companies.

He will focus on transactions for ING’s North American insurance clients and will report to Nick Smit, head of Financial Institutions North America.

Zayicek brings to ING extensive transactional experience focused on the insurance industry, joining from Nomura Securities International, where he was an executive director in the Financial Institutions Group responsible for coverage of the insurance and reinsurance sectors. Prior to this, he was a vice president in the Financial Institutions Group at Credit Suisse (USA) where he was also involved in transactions across the insurance and reinsurance sectors. He has also held positions in the Financial Institutions Groups of Sagent Advisors Inc., KeyBanc Capital Markets and Bear, Stearns & Co.
