AMERISAFE, Inc. Names Lead Director

AMERISAFE, Inc., a specialty writer of high hazard workers’ compensation insurance, appointed Jared A. Morris to serve as lead independent director.

Morris will also continue to serve as the Chair of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.

Among his key responsibilities, Morris will consult with the Chairman of the Board on the agenda for and schedule of meetings of the Board of Directors, serve as a liaison between the Chairman of the Board and the independent directors and chair executive sessions of the Board’s independent directors.
