Murphy Joins Great American Insurance as Divisional VP

Great American Insurance Group’s Corporate Claims has hired Emmet M. Murphy as a divisional vice president responsible for the environmental claims unit.

Murphy joins Great American from The Hartford and its complex claims group where he held the titles of assistant vice president and senior counsel. He brings 21 years of claims and management experience to Great American.

Murphy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and was awarded his J.D. by the University of San Diego School of Law.
