Berkley Names Tavares as SVP of Claims

W. R. Berkley Corp. appointed Nelson Tavares to the newly created office of senior vice president of claims.

Tavares has over 20 years of experience in the property casualty insurance industry, having served as a senior executive at a leading international insurance company where he was the global head of large and complex claims.
