I can’t believe anyone continues to pay these idiots to guess the frequency and severity of natural phenomenon. Most of the time it’s a crap shoot anyway. Ma Nature will throw as many storms as she wishes and there isn’t a thing anybody can do about it. We already have an effective early alert system and people know the drill. Until and unless somebody comes up with a way to change their course or severity, I wish these “forecasters” would shut up and find legitimate work.
Personally, I’m amazed that so many insurance geeks spend their time studying and understanding science. Of course, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised given that our livelihood is tied to weather. But still, it’s an interesting discussion board whenever weather is the topic.
And here I am spending all my time reading about Tiger.
