They say the same thing every year. It will be what it will be. I can predict that there is a 50% chance it will rain today and would never be fully right or wrong.

Wait, wait … did IJ release this article from 12/11/08 by mistake? This is about as helpful as … well … as the report from last year that said we would have a more active Atlantic hurricane season in ’09. How’s that working out?

They cant tell me if its going to rain today, how can they tell me how many hurricanes this year? And we are going to change our whole economy and pay them money to research something that may or may not exist. Then they get caught with their emails telling each other to keep quiet about the cooling of the planet the last 12 years.

Does everyone remember the 2006 forecast? The world was going to come to and end. NOTHING in 2006. The hurricane forecast is a joke. You are better off going with averages. Heck, anything past 3-5 days from a forecast perspective has already been proven to be worthless. Oh well, there is $ to be made so someone will take it at face value.

You’re a bit misleading. Read this article and stop believing how the far right tells you how to think.

With 2009 being a pretty calm season, me, my dog and my senile Granny have all predicted a more active 2010 hurricane season. And we predicted this on December 2nd, ahead of these guys.

When does this story fall under Amusements rather than News? I can’t wait for the Spring and Summer updated forecasts to really know what to expect.

So then hardly anything is true anymore? Is your 75% fabricated?

    Please elaborate.
