The USA is in decline. People should pay consequences for making the wring decisions. Their are dress codes in the work place and a man dressed as a woman violates all of the work place dress codes that I have ever seen. As far as sex discrimination – that individual was born a man. Becoming a woman is an event that requires surgery. Which is something that a person has total control over. As far as ACTUALLY being born black, white, male or female, these are things that an individual has no control over. I am really saddened to watch the USA sink in the toilet like it is doing.

Al, please show me where sexuality and psychological stability are directly related. There are millions of heterosexual individuals in this country that are a psychologically unstable. It has nothing to do with gender preference.

All rise for “judge mental”. Who are you to criticize Marissa’s comments. If you disagree that’s fine, but you offer nothing but insults and criticism. That speaks volumes about you.

Well said Mark Smith. Seems like nothing is ever inappropriate in this country and the founding fathers must be turning over in their graves over the bastardization of the constitutional amendment abuse. It won’t be long before America will look like the bar room scene in Star Wars. God must be either laughing his *** off or shaking his head in disgust. As for those who “accept all comers” (no pun intended), you lack any sense of value. Just “go with the flow” and let everyone do what they please. Keep smokin’ them doobies.

Scott, did you really just put gender preference, ghosts, alien abduction and re-incarnation in the same argument. Saying that someone has mental health issues because they chose to change their gender is an unfounded argument. Unless you are a doctor that can confirm such things, you may just want to leave that alone. This all comes down to societal acceptance. Unfortunately about 150 years ago, certain religious groups, ethnic groups and those not associated with the norm were though of as mentally deficient, lacking souls, or just plain crazy because they didnt look or act like the “homogenous” society we call America. Again, this is about social acceptance not mental health. It was obvious that they found no mental health issues when he/she was initially offered the job.

That’s because they didn’t realize he was a whack job until he disclosed his plans. How does a former Army Special Forces COLONEL suddenly decide he must become a female? Not that it matters, but this is not a young man. You don’t change horses halfway through the race unless you have some type of short circuit in the brain. In spite of all the left-wing defenders of “shim”, it’s hardly normal by any standard.

Frank. What speaks volumes about you is that you can’t read. Read the post again. It is below. There are no insults contained in the post. Don’t blame someone else for making you feel certain way. That is my message. No insults included.

“Doing what He/She did is not my thing either but you are in control of what makes you feel uncomfortable or confortable. The person did not lie awake at night and wonder how he/she could you make you feel. What makes you feel uncomfortable is up to you. If you are squeemish, look the other way”.

    Wiki says it all…

Oiginally associated with human and spiritual unity, closeness and compassion, and it still is…

But more recently it is also cited or alluded to in satirical, sarcastic or even cynical ways that suggest blind or false moralizing, hypocrisy, or naively optimistic views of the world and human nature….

So I guess the best response to this deteriorating post to all you lefties, righties, smokers, tokers, yesers, noers, doers, sayers – is – Kumbaya… Take your pick – either accept it, ignore it, reject it or support it –

Don’t ask… Don’t tell… Unless you’re applying for a narrow job in a narrow minded society – Take a look throughout history – just because medical advancements have made this transition possible – doesn’t mean there weren’t people hundreds of years ago that would have done the same thing if it were available – accept it – it isn’t going to go away…

    Peace out !

I stand by my statements. If I wanted to cut off my arms and legs because I thought I was a salamander trapped in a mans body I’d be labeled mentally ill too. These people are sick, sorry.
