D’Alusio Named Senior Claims Officer at Avizent

Columbus-Ohio based national risk management and claims services provider Avizent has named John D’Alusio senior vice president and senior claims officer, overseeing the company’s technical and operations divisions.

D’Alusio has 30 years of experience as an insurance businessman with executive management positions in administration, field operations, and claim technical areas at companies such as Liberty Mutual Insurance Co., Home Insurance Co., AIG, Zenith Insurance Co., HNC Software, Gould & Lamb, and Health Advocates/PMSI MSI MSA Services.

Over the course of his career, D’Alusio has given numerous presentations on cost containment, anti-fraud techniques, and new claims technology. He has also served on various advisory boards to workers’ compensation industry vendors, and is considered an industry expert on Medicare Secondary Payer law.
