Get your head out of the sand! This really didn’t have anything to do with being Republican or Democrat. You are naive to think so.

ROTFLOL. I’m glad someone could see the humorous side of this topic. Why do we doubt this? Because you’d almost have to be stealing (or one of the Greenbergs and not on this site) to afford that kind of trouble. Notice I didn’t claim that insurance men are brighter. I’ll leave that to someone else to say.

Did he do anything that hundreds of thousands haven’t done in the past? Obviously not, but then again he isn’t hundreds of thousands, he is the head of one of the fifty states making up the United States of America. Being in that position puts him in a position where he is responsible not only to his family, but to his constituents for his actions and the actions of those around him.

As to why so many are taking so much joy in this… well I guess that can be argued, but they are only exhibiting the same apparent joy that he exhibited in the past.

Finally as to Bill Clinton… I guess the golden boy can put his cigar anywhere he wants and the nation will give him their approval.

Did anyone hear James Carville’s remarks about Spitzer was probably set up? Give me a break! Like he tripped and fell into the prostitute! Carville just wishes this could have happened to him – or maybe it did and the prostitute/call girl agency would rather not admit he was a client. Ha Ha!!!

I do agree with you (jasmine) but Clinton did not portray himself as some holier than thou person as Spitzer did. Everyone knew Clinton was a womanizer (sorry but when there’s smoke, there’s fire) so his little fling with Monica wasn’t a big deal.

Lying under oath was a big deal and cost Willy his ability to practice law. He paid the price for his arrogance, the defenders of Spitzer need to let him take his lumps.

“Client #6” was named in the papers today. Gerald Cavendish Grosvenor, The Duke of Westminster. Supposedly he’s the richest guy in England.

What does he have in common with Spitzer? He tried to haggle the price with the hooker. Lesson to be learned? Don’t haggle with a *****.

I wonder how many other “clients” are bracing themselves now.
