Why did they go after this man? Because of the arrogant way he carried himself into office and his absolute inability to posess even an ounce of humility. It has less to do with who he went after. It has more to do with how he went after them.

Mr Spitzer sponcered and signed into legislation a law that would make soliciting the services of a prostitute punishable by up to 1 year in jail.

Perhaps he will be one of the first to be punished under his own law.

Shold he be forced to resign? Should the insurance business have been forced to under go all the changes and mud slinging that we did? The few greedy mega brokers and CEO’s thatcaused the problem did but not the entire industry. The governer caused his problems so now it’s time for him to face the charges.

While our industry wasn’t perfect it did not deserve the attack under Mr SPitzer as A.G. So now he will have a taste of his own medcine. I hope he chokes.

Years ago I was in a similar situation as the gov. Its not easy to take out this much money to pay for “services” without someone finding out.

Basically, I bought a brand new BMW, didnt put comprehensive coverage on it, then it was “stolen.” So basically she gets the car, and there is no record of me paying the girl for services rendered. It worked out great.

Sorry, but many of us in my office are not the least bit sad about Spitzer’s fate. My company was investigated as part of his “witch hunt” last year. The result: our company was forced to spend $$$$$ defending itself – and we were/are squeeky clean. I wonder if we can sue him to recoup our legal costs?

It seems to me he is under investigation for abuses of power when he was the AG. That will probably go a little farther now that he doesn’t have the hammer of the governorship.

Everyone give him a break! I know what his reputation is, but I didnt find him to be that difficult. Btw, dont beleive everything you read, it doesnt have to cost $1,000 an hour, it can be had for much less.

    I DON’T believe everything I read.
For example, I don’t believe that you actually want us to give him a break!
