IRISK Solutions is a new independent risk management consulting firm, targeting small to middle market companies with annual gross premiums from $50,000 to $1 million.
IRISK uses an Enterprise Risk Management approach to serve its clients. It promises to provide claims consulting, loss control consulting, trending analysis, managed care review and information systems. The firm is seeking to serve carriers, program administrators, alternative risk transfer consultants, insurance agents and brokers, and insurance buyers.
“IRISK will provide independent oversight for a variety of organizations in order to maximize the financial benefits brought through quality risk management techniques and practices,” said Girija Trainor, ARM, chief operating officer of IRISK Solutions.
In its Enterprise Risk Management approach, IRISK utilizes specific tools that it says help:
• Align risk appetite and strategy
• Enhance risk response decisions
• Reduce operational surprises and losses
• Identify and manage multiple and cross-enterprise risks
• Seize opportunities
• Improve deployment of capital-in
• Manage risk
IRISK Solutions utilizes a customized version of RiskConsole, a web-based Risk Management Information System (RMIS) provided in partnership between IRISK Solutions and RiskLabs.
