we got us a love connection; I see real sparks between Big Insurance and Jewel…
    back in 2 and 2…

Jewel, you get out your best cute shoes, and Big I, you just be yourself…love is in the air.

Plus, you get this new livingroom set from Broyhill…

    Thanks, Rosie. You\’re a doll.

PS. Is Jewel a little \”OCD\”? I see her name as having been compelled to impose her opinion on practically every article. You know what they say about us neanderthals – read \”men\”. (By the way, how come there are no female cavewomen in the GEICO commercials?)

\”PS. Is Jewel a little \”OCD\”? I see her name as having been compelled to impose her opinion on practically every article.\”

That\’s because I don\’t change my name every time I post on this site. Big Insurance- how many different names have you used? And, obsessive… maybe… compulsive… not so much. Oh, and there are easily 20 times as many articles on here that I have NOT responded to in some way, shape or form. In order for your arguments to have validity, they need to be accurate. Oh, you were probably exaggerating. Kind of like calling yourself BIG Insurance huh? :)

Thanks for playing- keep the insults coming. Perhaps you will hit upon a valid insult one of these days.

wasn\’t it shoe comments that started this whole thing?

\”say, like your shoes; they really look good; ok if I slop a little gravy…yeah…you got the look, babe\”

Ever noticed the artifacts hanging from the walls and ceiling at any Cracker Barrel location? Most folks are surprised to learn all the old toys, tools, utensils, signs, and advertisements are original. Since the artifacts in every store are unique, we like to think of every Cracker Barrel Old Country Store location as a museum of Americana.

Look over there: it\’s Uncle Fester. He used to play pranks on neighbors; he\’d dress up in a sheet and try to scare folks outa their homes.

This here is a drawin\’ of Cletus Willbogen. He was the first family member of the C Barrel family to gradetate; he got outta 6th grade before age 17. We was proud of him and his sons, Ortho and Roundup.

Here\’s a rag doll, made by our Aunt Freda. Ole Aunt Freda was a hoot. She used to make rags dolls all the time, but she named them all Johnny Booth. Something about the war of northern aggression didn\’t sit well with her.

And finally, here\’s cousin Kittle. Sumthin\’ wasn\’t right about Kit; he used to chase the dog, the chickins, the school bus, trucks on the intrastate. Needless to say, Kit didn\’t get much book learnin\’, but he did help us locate the finest jams and jellies we could find before his untimely demise behind that manure spreader out on I-40.

You could say that Cracker Barrel decor is a family affair, because one family has purchased all the artifacts since the first store opened back in 1969. Don and Kathleen Singleton owned an antique store in Lebanon when Co-Founder Danny Evins asked them to provide that Old Country Store look in his new restaurant. Don and Kathleen like the job, and eventually passed it down to their son Larry in 1980.

Now the Singletons have purchased well over a half million artifacts over the years. But there\’s a process behind the scenes that takes place before we place these items in a store. Larry\’s team will clean and restore every piece before it gets placed in a new Cracker Barrel Old Country Store location.

Larry\’s story has become quite popular with feature reporters. Take a photo tour of the Décor Warehouse and you\’ll see why. The following photographs can be reprinted in your publications. Just e-mail Julie Davis with your photo specifications and she\’ll get them to you. Julie can also arrange interviews with Larry and a time for you to take pictures at your local Cracker Barrel location.

    A Big Time Breakfast.
    Any Time Of The Day.

So keep your gravy to yourself, and Pull up a chair to one of our heartiest morning meals – Uncle Herschel\’s Favorite®. Start with a choice of your favorite breakfast meat, add two farm fresh Eggs cooked to order, Grits, Sawmill Gravy, homemade Buttermilk Biscuits, real Butter and only the finest Preserves. Then choose Fried Apples or our tasty Hashbrown Casserole. Available all day at your local Cracker Barrel.

Be sure to where shoes; no shirt, no shoes, no service. Make yourself at home, though.

I have both kinds of shoes.

But, that is an entirely different matter.

First of all, I really would like for people to stop putting words in my mouth. (or into my posts).

I am not a manhater at all and I never said or IMPLIED that I was one. If anyone would like to show me a specific comment *I* made to back this up, please do so. Otherwise, just shut up.

Oh, and men are not \”neanderthals\” (used here to mean ignorant or stupid)… I never said or IMPLIED that either.

So, let\’s all grow up and stop attacking people for things they NEVER said (or implied). Attacking them for things they did say is another story.

    Hi Jewel
Actually, I was just trying to have a little fun and lighten things up, although I am glad that you have some really hot shoes too :))). You do some cool posts and are a breath of fresh air.

    I figured as much. ;)

I apologize; I wasn\’t getting on you about that remark (not much anyway).

I just don\’t like people screaming and yelling at me when they have misunderstood my words (whether my fault- I realize I am not always 100% clear- or theirs).

Thanks for the compliments. I think you are pretty groovy too…
