Odyssey Investment Partners, LLC has completed its previously announced acquisition of York Insurance Services Group, Inc. in partnership with York Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Thomas C. MacArthur, other members of York’s senior management and Cincinnatus Partners, LLC, a Cincinnati-based advisory firm.
York’s senior management team, headed by MacArthur, will continue to lead the business and John Ward, founder of Cincinnatus Partners, will become vice chairman.
Headquartered in Parsippany, N.J., York is an outsourcer of specialty claims management to niche market segments of the property and casualty industry.
MacArthur, said the transaction and the new capital structure “provides York with greater flexibility at this time of continued expansion.”
Since the 1930’s, York (through predecessor companies) has served both as an independent adjustment company and third party administrator providing claims data and risk related services to insurance companies, reinsurers, self insureds, and intermediaries throughout the United States. More recently, York has established business units in the program management, licensed private investigation, recovery, environmental consulting, retail logistics and large/complex loss adjusting markets.
