TXIAN Notes Multi-State Growth

January 3, 2006

The Texas Independent Auction Network (TXIAN), a group of independent auctions which provides insurers single-source salvage management and disposition, reported that its service area has expanded to include the states of Arizona, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin.

The expansion brings TXIAN’s current number of auction facilities to 28, and network office hours have been extended to accommodate customer work schedules in all four time zones.

“We had founded TXIAN last summer in response to requests from members of the insurance claims community who wanted the simplicity of working with a single-source vendor, but didn’t want to give up the financial and service advantages they gain by working with independent auctions,” said Kenneth Rickli, managing partner. “We are gratified by the enthusiastic client support TXIAN has received, and have launched a rapid expansion at their behest. Today’s announcement represents our first step toward meeting the larger regional needs of our client base.”

Concurrent with the network’s expanded coverage area the group has also rolled out its newly redesigned Web site, which includes an entirely new graphic motif, multiple new links, and a section that highlights industry news.
