EFI Promotes Holt to President, CEO

Engineering and Fire Investigations (EFI), a full service environmental and fire investigations firm and member of the GAB Robins Group of Companies, announced the appointment of Ron Holt, as the new company president and CEO.

Holt, who joined EFI in October 2000, most recently served as COO of the company with responsibility for the overall field operations. As CEO, he brings to EFI more than 25 years of leadership experience in the environmental, fire and engineering industries.

As an industry leader, Holt has established, owned and operated many of his own companies specializing in products and services such as industrial coatings, insulation and environmental services.

Early in his career, he established the largest fire alarm and life safety company in the Southern U.S. Holt went on to hold a series of senior management and executive positions at companies such as Allwaste, IAM Environmental Inc., Fugro International and ENSR Corp.
