Computer Sciences Corporation has introduced POINT IN, insurance administration software CSC designed for small- to mid-sized property and casualty (P/C) insurers and managing general agents. POINT IN, which is a new version of CSC’s POINT system, aids users to reduce costs, improve customer service and react quickly to market opportunities.
POINT IN is a desktop solution for insurance professionals that administers all lines of P/C insurance and integrates policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing and reinsurance. An XML-enabled version with a flexible design that lets users customize workflows, POINT IN consolidates customer information, third-party data and multiple software applications into a single, Web browser-based view.
POINT IN is the result of more than two years of CSC (www.csc.com) collaboration with the POINT User Group and the POINT Advisory Council, which represent the nearly 110 companies that make up the P/C industry’s largest installed software user community.
POINT IN also integrates with several of CSC’s P/C products including Colossus, an industry-providing tool for evaluating bodily injury claims; Business Intelligence Solution, an interactive, Web browser-based tool for accessing business reports and database information; and Media View, a browser-based tool for capturing, archiving and viewing electronic documents, images, and audio and video files.
