Mary B. – “If you can’t feed them, don’t breed them.”

    Fabulous quote! I like that.

Too bad not enough people (citizens or illegals) abide by it. I’m struggling with resisting the urge to rant about welfare mamas who can’t feed the ones they have but keep popping out more and the lame, lazy men who don’t use protection!

As for uninsured motorists… if they can’t afford insurance, perhaps they should not have cars?

civil rights, since when do they have a right to get a license to drive? driving is first of all a priviledge. in NC, just to get a license you must have insurance whether u have a car or not. if they do purchase a car, they are they not being taxed? if so, how come we can’t get the wages taxed? oh, under the table pay…um, and that is a problem. we do need a tougher stand against illegals whom work for little. but then again, as we see many americans whom are on welfare, could take some of these jobs and make their life better. stop living on the government or the peoples tax money. we as americans need our congress to stop the bickering and work together to resolve this issue and finally put a bus with illegals back home. give the power to those of the dept of immigration. put businesses out of business for hiring illegals. force them to hire americans at minimum wage. make business’ pay for the transportation/deportation of illegals.

um coverage? well, the statement that means to put food on the table vs insurance. um…IT’S the LAW in all 50 states to have insurance to drive a vehicle. one of the many requirements in having a car. it’s like owning a house, you are required to have insurance. you need to maintain your lawn (if you have one). regular maintenance of a house. same thing with a car. what is so wrong with telling folks find a job, take a bus, get out of welfare by working and not purchasing a car w/o insurance. i have seen some people take their so called government money and spend it on the LOTTERY?

u’ll find that plenty of the youthful drivers like purchasing a brand new car especially sports cars. they tend to forget the obvious they need insurance after they have already purchase the vehicle. again, knowing what you need when you purchase an item.

This thread’s been dormant so long that you probably won’t see it but…

Yes, the comment about civil rights was more than dripping, it was soaked with sarcasm. Sorry, thought the rest of the post cleared up how I actually feel.
