Why are ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS allowed to get a drivers licence at all? Doesn’t Illegal mean they aren’t supposed to be here at all? I know my view seems simplistic, but if it’s not legal to be here they shouldn’t be here and getting legal documentation. I had a car totaled by an illegal immigrant last year in South Carolina. My company had to foot the bill for the replacement of the rental car. The individual was an employee at a hotel. Why is enforcing the law on illegals such a big deal to so many people?
I agree, but not only that…is it not a priviledge to drive if you are of legal status? so why are we dealing with these issues? and if these accidents happen, how are we to compensate the insurance companies whom have to pay out? certainly, if i was a company, i would sue the state for reimbursement for allowing an illegal to get a license. i am suprised that nobody has done that with the state of society today. you are not going to collect any money out of the illegal immigrant (incl taxes) but they will be deported. they need to be taken off the street and held in a holding facility for transfer out of country.
I don’t agree with it, but the logic is that the illegals will drive anyway so we might as well license them. It just gives them one more level of legitimacy undeserved.
Personally, I’d rather they were driving with a license than without one nay day. Leaving aside the issue of whether it provides additional legitimacy or not, one advantage to licensing anyone – legal or not – means that they’ve demonstrated at least some degree of competency at operating a vehicle safely.
It’s a countrywide social dilemma and one state making a change is not going to make a diffence for the rest of the nation. Until we as a country, make the decision to set some type of control on this issue of major proportion, and follow through with it, these articles mean nothing. I wonder why Kansas has such a high number of illegal immigrants in the first place?
Just because they have a license means they’ll buy insurance? Is that what the state is implying? Pushaw!
Idea – If an illegal immigrant is uninsured and causes an accident, let them pay off the debt (if they don’t have the money) in labor. Got a broken leg from the wreck? The illegal comes to your house every day to cook, clean and wheel you around while you recover. They also go to the auto shop and put in some sweat equity towards the repair of your car. Let them work off the rest of their debt to you and your medical bills by doing domestic chores for your friends and family for the next several years.
I’m joking of course… but it totally chaps my hide that illegal immigrants get away with so much in this country, and often at the expense of those of us who are here legally.

Eventually they will be used to riot and burn the cities as part of bringing in Martial Law. This has all been published in autobiographies and working papers by different global think tanks and the various memebers of the bilderberg group. These same people said 3 years ago the dollar has to go and the US economy will be slowly pulled into ruin. Now look what is happening.

Illegals are not arrested and are left alone. Maybe 1 out of every 10,000 felony is grounds for deportment. Call your local police and patrol officers and ask them about it.
