Not reading every single comment here, I just find this hilarious. The fact is Jewel and Geezer is that you both SHOULD BE FIRED for spending your entire work day on this website. Employers have the right to fire and hire, and seeing that your productivity is obviously declining due to the number of posts…well…

You have no idea when we have to start work, our lunch times, our breaks, or even OUR time zone.

But, that was a great try! :)

What comment did I include that you didn\’t make?

The only quote I see that you didn\’t make is one *I* said… and clearly stated in my post. Perhaps you would like to read my post again so you can see that this time around.

As for your at will statement, I said there were exceptions. Again, read my post over so that you will understand what I actually said. I don\’t know what point of mine you are arguing against, because what I said is true. Everyone is also \”at will\” to commit a crime, right? But, then they will face the consequences. In addition, I never stated which protected classes should or shouldn\’t be allowed. And that molestation angle is still ridiculous.

P.S. So, you work in HR? Big deal. Most people I have come across know everything you stated in your \”closing argument\”.

Please open your mind to the fact that I am not necessarily disagreeing with the concept of protected classes or other government intervention being wrong/unjust. I was merely throwing out a scenario about a disabled worker. In a perfect world, we wouldn\’t need to do these types of things. Sad, but true. Also, please quit putting your own twist on my words.

    Thank you kindly

Did your mommy drop you on your head when you were a small child?

Sorry that you are unemployed. You seem to have lots of free time to post as well.

Oh, how I love to assume immature things about people. :) Oh, and the name calling suits you.

Jewel – you honestly take the inteligence and the interest out of posting on this sight. You degrade people who don\’t agree with you and you ALWAYS have to be right. You and Rosie should really start a club.

Jewel, your posts in the past have been very thoughtful, but it appears you are getting caught up in the banter back & forth now. Need to get back to some semblance of order? I still am a fan – under various post names.

\”Jewel, your posts in the past have been very thoughtful, but it appears you are getting caught up in the banter back & forth now.\”

I sure am. :( And I see where you are coming from… I don\’t disagree

    BUT

I am just so tired of people\’s words being twisted or words being put in their mouths. However, with the internet it is a lot harder to get a person\’s tone. They could mean their words a lot differently than they come across. I try to keep that in mind and try to ask for clarification if I am unsure of their intention. In doing so, I get called stupid, unknowledgeable, etc. And so, I get irritated.

I have found a big problem to be when people do not READ someone\’s post. I read them not only once, but twice, sometimes 3 times before responding to make sure I understand their points. Others just shoot off at the mouth.

In any event, it\’s time to go home!
