March 3, 2006

Constance (Connie) Bayne has been appointed vice president and manager – Loss Prevention for Wisconsin-based Wausau Insurance. Bayne replaces Tim Mulloy, who was recently appointed senior vice president for Wausau’s National Division.

Bayne comes to Wausau from Liberty Mutual’s National Market business unit, where she was assistant vice president and manager for loss prevention consulting since 2003. In that role, she was responsible for managing National Market’s loss prevention operations, including budget, staffing, workforce improvement, customer service, acquisition and retention of business.

A 20-year employee of the Liberty Mutual Group, Bayne has held several positions of increasing management authority. She held management positions within National Market’s Account Service Consulting unit from 1999 to 2003 and managed loss prevention field operations in various management roles for Liberty Mutual Risk Services between 1992 and 1999. Bayne first joined the Liberty Mutual organization as a loss prevention representative, serving in that role from 1986 to 1992.
