Kansas Insurance Commissioner Sandy Praeger announced
today that LeRoy Brungardt has been appointed to serve on the Executive Committee of The Society of Insurance Licensing Administrators (SILA). Brungardt is Director of Agents and Licensing for the Kansas Insurance Department.
“Only four SILA members were chosen nationally to serve on the
executive committee, and I am pleased the organization has recognized LeRoy’s knowledge, expertise and commitment to making a difference in the financial services industry through this appointment,” said Praeger. “It is an honor for Kansas and the department to have LeRoy in this very important role.”
The Society of Insurance Licensing Administrators was established in
October of 1990. The purpose of the organization is to bring together
licensing experts whose occupations encompass all aspects of licensing, including, but not limited to, the licensing of agents, agencies, adjusters, brokers, companies, producers, securities dealers, and third party administrators; and such auxiliary occupations as administration, regulation, testing, education, publishing and reporting as related to the insurance industry.
