Kansas Insurance Commissioner Sandy Praeger, in cooperation with Shawnee County District Attorney and the Kansas Attorney General’s Office, has filed felony charges against a policy holder.
An investigation, by the Commissioner Praeger’s Anti-Fraud Division, has lead to charges against Kassandra M. Tidwell of Topeka on June 1, 2004. Tidwell is charged with committing one felony count of a Fraudulent Insurance Act. The allegations involve incidents that occurred in July and August of 2003.
Tidwell is scheduled to appear in court on July 20.
