MS/B Names Heard Director of Claims Operations

Wisconsin-based Marshall and Swift / Boeckh (MS/B), a provider of building cost data and estimating technology to the property insurance industry, announced the appointment of Kornel Heard as director of operations in the Claims Solutions Group.

Heard will play a role in helping build and direct MS/B’s claims analytics strategies, as well as develop and enhance products and services which support client strategic objectives.

Prior to joining MS/B, Heard was senior vice president Claims at Balboa Life and Casualty. He has more than 19 years of claims management experience in the Personal Property and Casualty industry and two years of experience in the Forced Order Hazard claim product lines.

Heard has an extensive insurance claims background with property, auto and casualty lines. He also comes with management experience in human resources, vendor management, process compliance, and laws and regulation.
