The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) announced a Toledo woman has pled guilty to workers’ compensation fraud.
Charlotte Pascoe is scheduled for sentencing Feb. 4, 2005 in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas. It is estimated that Pascoe defrauded BWC of $12,730.13.
Anonymous sources alerted BWC’s special investigation unit (SIU) that Pascoe was reportedly working while receiving workers’ comp benefits. The SIU confirmed that Pascoe was working as a telemarketer at Epic Security while receiving temporary total disability benefits.
Pascoe was injured on the job in June 2002 while working for Walt’s Auto Glass. She suffered neck, back and knee injuries when she fell on the job.
