Mayfield Village, Ohio-based vehicle insurer Progressive Corp. reported $21,000 worth of art by the late pop artist Roy Lichtenstein was stolen from its building, according to the Associated Press.
The works stolen were three lithographs, “Bull Head I,” “Bull Head II” and “Bull Head III,” and were last seen Oct. 31. Police told the AP they did not understand how a thief could leave the building unnoticed carrying the three 27-inch-by-35-inch lithographs.
There was no break-in associated with the theft, leading police to believe it was done during normal office hours.
