A man working on a suburban Philadelphia construction site is reported injured after a collapse of wooden roof trusses of a building under construction.
The collapse happened around 9 a.m. Thursday at the site of a commercial building that’s under construction in Buckingham Township, Bucks County.
Officials said the wood framing of the roof collapsed and left a subcontractor trapped for about an hour. He had to be removed from the rubble.
That individual was taken to Temple University Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. The person’s condition was not immediately known.
Investigators are trying to determine what caused the building to collapse.
