Authorities in western Pennsylvania say a tractor pulling a hay wagon at an anniversary party overturned, sending eight people to hospitals.
Police in Allegheny County say the accident happened at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday during a hayride on private property in Findlay Township.
Sgt. Don Sedlacek said about 20 people were on the hay wagon when it started to slide down a hill and jackknifed, throwing adults and children off the wagon.
He told KDKA that six of the eight injuries were classified as moderate, but all passengers were reported in stable condition at local hospitals.
Sedlacek said wet ground and wet grass may have contributed to the accident.
