The number of suspicious fires on Virginia’s Eastern Shore since last November has topped 60.
Eight fires have occurred in the past four days.
Virginia State Police tell media outlets that the latest fires in Accomack County destroyed two abandoned houses Tuesday night.
The fires followed two on Monday night, two on Sunday and two on Saturday.
All the fires are being investigated as arson.
No one has been injured. Many of the structures have been abandoned.
A $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and a conviction.
