State police say a 56-year-old western New York woman was nearly three times over the legal limit for drunk driving when troopers spotted her traveling with one of her front tires missing.
Authorities say troopers stopped Roxanne Tallman’s vehicle Saturday as she was driving without the front passenger-side tire in her rural hometown of Nunda, in Livingston County 45 miles south of Rochester.
Troopers say Tallman had an open bottle of vodka in the vehicle and failed a field sobriety test. Police say she had a blood alcohol content of .21 percent, well over the legal limit of .08 percent.
Tall man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, felony DWI and unsafe tire. She’s held in the county jail on $5,000 bail. It couldn’t be determined if she had a lawyer.
