Delaware state officials say more than 1,800 drivers were cited for distracted driving during a law enforcement campaign.
The Delaware Office of Highway Safety said Tuesday that law enforcers conducted the campaign between Nov. 7 and Nov. 20.
The campaign is called Phone in One Hand. Ticket in the Other.
Distracted driving consists of any non-driving activity a person engages in that has the potential to distract from driving.
