Authorities are trying to determine what caused an inferno that destroyed two buildings at a central New Jersey apartment complex.
No one was injured in Tuesday’s 9-alarm blaze at the Woodbridge Village apartments in Woodbridge Township. But dozens of residents have been left homeless after the flames destroyed 52 of the complex’s 190 units.
It appears the fire started in a second-floor unit, and many residents said they were alerted to the blaze by neighbors who banged on their doors.
