Investigators are offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in a suspicious fire that destroyed a home under renovation in Worcester, Mass., and left three others uninhabitable.
The four-alarm blaze first reported at about 4 a.m. Tuesday damaged seven buildings in all, but no tenants were hurt. Three firefighters suffered minor injuries.
Arson investigators believe the blaze started at 20 Merrick Street, a three-story home that was being restored. It was destroyed.
Three nearby multi-unit homes have been boarded up and condemned.
Flames also damaged several vehicles parked in driveways.
The Red Cross is helping displaced families.
The cause remains under investigation.
