Delaware State Police have charged a Dover man with stealing storm grates and selling them as scrap metal.
Twenty-eight-year-old Bruce A. Logan was charged on more than a dozen counts, including burglary and theft. He was released on $8,700 unsecured bond.
Troopers say the storm grates, weighing about 200 pounds each, were stolen from developments still under construction where the streets are unfinished. Officers say Logan was stopped in his truck at least twice and had large quantities of assorted scrap metal.
