Police say a man is dead after falling into the hull of a ship at a Philadelphia pier.
A police spokeswoman says 46-year-old Croatian man was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead Sunday night.
Rescuers tell WPVI-TV they used a crane and basket to remove the man.
A phone message left for the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority was not immediately returned.
