The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating a small plane crash in western Massachusetts that killed one person.
FAA spokeswoman Holly Baker says two other people aboard the Cessna registered to a Ronkonkoma, N.Y., company were seriously injured in the crash Sunday in Leverett. She says another person was in critical condition.
The Republican of Springfield reported that state police in Northampton, Mass., said the plane hit power lines.
No other details were immediately available.
