Fire officials suspect a blaze that damaged about a dozen homes in Philadelphia is a case of arson.
The fire broke out around 3:30 a.m. Thursday in the city’s Logan neighborhood. Witnesses tell authorities that a woman grabbed a gas can off a porch and threw it on to another before setting the home on fire.
The blaze spread to adjacent rowhomes, prompting neighbors to go door-to-door to warn residents. About 11 homes sustained damage.
Investigators say they know the identity of the suspected arsonist and are looking for her.
