An 82-year-old Meriden, Connecticut farmer has died after being run over by his own tractor.
Police say 82-year-old David Bilger was apparently attempting to attach a trailer when the tractor somehow went into gear and struck him.
Police found Bilger on the ground Tuesday morning at Bilger Farms after responding to reports that a tractor was going in circles with nobody aboard.
Police say Bilger suffered severe head injuries. He was pronounced dead at MidState Medical Center.
