A fire has damaged a cafe building at the Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence.
Fire Battalion Chief Joseph Desmarais tells The Providence Journal that the Sunday night fire seriously damaged the second-floor roof of the zoo’s Carousel Cafe building. No one was injured.
He says the fire is believed to be accidental and did not spread to the zoo’s carousel or playground.
