Vermont fire officials say a fire that burned down a sugar house containing about 400 gallons of syrup was deliberately set.
Firefighters responded to the at about 2:30 a.m. Friday to the fire in Tinmouth. Investigators with the state fire investigation and fire safety units also responded and said the fire was the result of arson.
No one was injured. Damage estimates are expected to approach or exceed $100,000.
