A Guilford, Connecticut woman has died when a large tree fell on her car as she was driving.
Police say 75-year-old Elizabeth Brown was pronounced dead Sunday at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury after the incident.
Police say Brown was driving on Route 68 when the tree fell across the road without warning. State police say a passenger in the car, 79-year-old Marylyn Powers of Minnesota, was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
