Delaware fire investigators say a man already in custody in connection with setting several fires in New Castle County has now been indicted on arson charges for a January apartment building blaze that injured five firefighters.
Twenty-five-year-old Carl Francis also faces assault, burglary and reckless endangering charges in connection with that fire, which occurred Jan. 5 in the 500 block of Homestead Road, near Wilmington. The injured firefighters needed treatment at area hospitals.
