A 27-year-old Manchester, New Hampshire woman faces a court date later this month on charges she defrauded her auto insurance company.
Attorney General Kelly Ayotte says Inge Lasut filed a claim with Progressive Northern Insurance Co. to cover damage to her car. She said the damage was the result of an accident on Feb. 18, 2005, when the car had been damaged before she applied for the insurance policy.
She is charged with felony insurance fraud and faces up to seven years in prison if convicted.
She is scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 24 in Strafford County Superior Court.
